Wacky ass wiring..
So I just picked up my first s13 today, a SOHC 1990 Hatch on isis coilovers & some SSR reps. The PO had fit some nonsense eBay fake type x lookin taillights & the wiring is all sorts of weird. Half the sockets don't receive power. My biggest proem though is that my right side blinkers do not work. I had them clicking while in my driveway and dash lights coming on, but I pull out of my driveway and the dash light is stuck on & nd no more clicking.
Could just having two burnt out bulbs cause it to act like that? The wiring harness in the fender was a little chewed up, but I don't know if that could have effect. Particularly a yellow-green wire I believe, on the right side. Any help sorting this would be much appreciated lol. Thanks & I'm glad to finally be back in an S chassis!(; |

See the factory service manual for the wiring diagrams.

Not trying to come off like a douche, but if you have the FSM, then use it to correct the tail light wiring. It's not that difficult because there aren't a ton of wires in that section.

Yes, I know that. No offense taken. But the guy has looped the wiring all around, jumping in line from brake lights to rubbing lights to hazards & nothing did as it was supposed to. I could've just re wired it all, but figured sorting all his dumb shit back to correct was probably going to take the same amount of time. |

As said... All that needed to be done was remove a few useless wires & re do ALL his connections. All were done by way of in line splice, not even crimped or soldered. Smh
