If I'm swapping the s15 helical diff into an s13 housing, can I just re-use the bolts on the open diff?

You can just use 12mm bolts in a 13mm hole, I have done it once making sure to use loctite and torque them to the higher end of the spec.

Email or PM me your address and I will come back with shipping cost. As an example it would cost $67 to California.

You need to entertain using a regional rate box or even a medium flat rate box would fit this (shipped plenty diffs in the medium box)

That's going to cut your shipping down to less than $15 for priority. Toss insurance on and you're shipping for less than $20 vs "$67 to California "

Thanks for the tip. I am looking into it now. The diff is 8" dia. and 7" tall, the med and large flat rate boxes seem to only 5 1/2" tall on the inside what box did you use?

Look again. There are two types of boxes each and the other size may actually fit this diff.

Still looking, all I can find is 13-5/8" x 11-7/8" x 3-3/8" or 11" x 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" the other box is only 3" the big box is 5" can't fit 8"x8"x7" in a 5" box.

Even the large flat rate boxes are 23-11/16" x 11-3/4" x 3" or 12" x 12" x 5-1/2" still 3.5" or 5.5" in one dimension.

You can make it work. It's not like the box can't bulge a little.

Why didn't I think of that? Let me save $40 on your $500 purchase by sending it in a sketchy box.

Would the post office accept a flat rate box like that? A little bulge is fine but that's like twice the height now.
