KA24E spitting sparkplug out

Hey guys, I have an 89 240sx coupe with a KA24E in it. The other day I was going up hill and it spat out one of the sparkplugs...
I want to try and chase the threads with a tap but I have no idea what size I'd use, I tried searching and googling but the best I could find was for a DOHC and it was M14 x 1.25..All help appreciated I need my car to run!

I'm pretty sure the spark plug threads are custom taps.

Also, if the engine spit out a plug, I'm almost positive that there is no point in trying to chase the threads.
Are you sure that the plug wasn't just loose to begin w/?

It was loose, but now it won't thread in and tighten down. I was thinking about trying the Sav-A-Thread sparkplug kit but I'm kind of wary at best for it
