Weird question regarding boot kit for inner tie rods
I have a 1996 zenki and when I was changing out my inner tie rods, I noticed the different diameter in boot sizes for the driver and passenger side.
The driver side had an opening of almost 2 1/8 inches while the passenger side had about 1.8 inch. Imagine my surprise when I bought these bellow kits from advance and discovered that one was too small. Anyway, I used an exacto knife and got the driver side to fit (I hope) and zip tied it down the best I could. Anyway, I tried searching and it doesn't seem like a common issue, did I do something wrong? Can anyone else confirm? How do I order the correct driver side size? Dealer? Thanks. |

Bump. Any ideas guys? The cut one just fell off, no surprise there.
I'm thinking about buying an 96 Audi A4 boot because the end diameter is bigger. A bit above two inches |
