Sooo here it goes my first ever build thread. Ive had many cars and been on many forums but have never done a build thread.
So I purchased my 240 on august 13th of 2010 in milwaukee. The car was completely bone stock except for an awesome cherrybomb glasspack as a muffler, Sentra wheels and an alpine headunit and amplifier along with some JL Audio speakers that suck. Heres the day I picked her up ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() First thing I did to the car was by an exhaust. I bought DC sports headers, Megan racing 3 inch test pipe and a 3 inch HKS Hi power catback. ![]() ![]() ![]() Then I bought some Stance Gr+ coilovers ![]() Ordered some cheap affordable wheels and tires. ![]() ![]() ![]() XXR 513's 16X8 0 offset, Wrapped in Falkens 195/50/16 It took me a little while to get my wheels and tires on the car because i was busy with school and work but in the mean time some body work got done. Spoiler was removed and holes were filled. ![]() ![]() Hatch was painted and roof was painted black. ![]() Finally i got around to putting my wheels and coils on. Ride height was not permanent but until i got my fenders rolled I didn't want to go any lower. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() That is where the exterior mods ended for the time. On to the interior. Bought a Parts Shop Max drift button and acquired the weirdest most comfortable dirty shaped shift knob ever from a friend ![]() Bought a BRIDE VIOS III Low Max and buddy club rails. ![]() Then went on a black friday shopping spree at Touge Factory. -OMP Corsica steering wheel -NRG quick release and short hub -Nismo motor mounts -Hawk HP plus brake pads ![]() ![]() then it sat in my garage till i got motivation to buy parts. ![]() Sooo then my friend had to go to Touge Factory to pick up some stuff. I being the nice guy asked if he needed a ride. Then the next thing I knew I was buying these ![]() ![]() Put her up on jacksands and got to work ![]() ![]() ![]() Bought some new wheels. Cheap and good looking 17x9.5 +15 all around ![]() ![]() ![]() I test fitted my wheels a while ago to se what I was getting myself into ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Then I got enough money saved up to buy some tires and get them mounted they are 215/45/17 on a 9.5 inch wide wheel. Its not a huge stretch like most of everybody else's but its exactly how I wanted them. ![]() ![]() Test fit ![]() ![]() Car was done for like 2 weeks and looked like this. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Then I bought a megan racing carbon roof spoiler. Not a huge fan of carbon fiber but I will probly paint it down the line some where. Then today actually I bought some 350z wheels for drift spare's. But the next big upgrade is a Tomei 2 way Diff. if you actually read the longest most boring build thread thanks i appreciate it. enjoy! |

Welcome man, cars clean. I'm friends with Stefan the guy you got the car from. Good to see it's getting some work done to it finally!

Well considering the car has 99,000 original miles on it I don't think I'm going to swap it anytime soon. I just want to learn to drift with what I have and do more an more engine work to the dohc KA as I go. I love the motor. But the end absolutely not. I dont think there will ever be an end. Ha. I will update the thread as I do more work to it.

Yea it says SRR on top. My friend bought a white s13 coupe with an sr and he gave it to me. But I have tried many times to find another one. I emailed the company but they never got back to me.

looks like you cut the egr tube after/before installing the dc headers.... did you end up plugging off the holes?

I cut the tube because there was absolutely no getting the old tube out of the stock header. I bought a new erg tube and threw it on.

yea the body was beat to shit when he got it. and the kid who sold it to him knew absolutly nothing about the car. We took the fenders off and beat out all the dents and bondoed all the nasty stuff along with two massive dents on the rear corners of the roof almost like the car was rolled haha it all looks good now ready for paint.
