Still lost. car running pig rich after tune

Hey everyone I'm having 1 hell of an issue. I have a red top sr20 that's been giving me problems for the past 2 months. I got an enthalpy tune with a t2871r turbo 550cc injectors and a z32 maf. I had the turbo already but bought jecs 550cc injectors and the maf.
After install I originally had issues with running too rich and the engine wanted to die. Found out my plugs were fouled. Now after new plugs I am still having the same issue. The cars running so rich that gas is spitting out of the exhaust.
I tried about 6 different maf sensors. Sent my ecu back to enthalpy to verify it is correct, checked for vacuum leaks, got new plugs, and so on. I'm lost at what to do next and I need this car going by march if I want to make it to the first autocross event.
I checked the codes on my ecu. And I continue to get code 12 for maf even after replacing it so many times and going through the wires over and over again. And a new 1 today was a code 11.

I have an update. After re checking my maf wiring again I realize now I'm getting no signal from my signal wire but I'm getting 12v. I checked all my fuses, replaced one that was blown but still no change. Anyone know of a new course of action to take before I try and tap into the ecu with a jumper wire?

You most certainly fried your ECU in the process ... The maf signal is supposed to be 0-5V .

Well. I got voltage on my signal wire. My ecu is now running code 55. I'm still running crazy rich and I began to unplug each fuel injector until my car was idling with none of my injectors plugged in. So I believe I found my problem. After I took the injectors out the green plastic on the injectors were smashed. Can these be replaced or did I just ruin new injectors?

You should be happy that you did not hydrolock a cylinder and bent a rod. This happens when a side feed injector leaks. Top feed injectors don't have that issue.

You can replace any part in an injector.

Yeah I realize I'm extremely lucky with this after finding out exactly how much fuel was dumped into the engine. Lesson learned. Don't buy cheap injectors. These needed modification to get the electrical connectors to fit right to begin with. I had so much fuel inside of my combustion chamber that my intake was also completely full of fuel. I don't even know how the engine would run with no air being able to be sucked in. Does anyone recommend a reputable place for injectors? Also when tightening the caps that hold the injectors in place, should they be tightened down until they touch the fuel rail Or should it just be a snug fit?

How was injectors not the first thing mentioned?

Go with an OEM injector? STI injectors are piss cheap, 550(close enough)cc and Martin is very familiar with them

740's might be a better option, especially with a 2871r(better headroom, less injector duty), not to mention he will have an easier time reselling them if he wants to go bigger..

On topic, when installing the new injectors don't forget to use some lube on the o-rings so they don't tear.

I dont know the price of a top feed conversion on an SR, but it may be a good idea to consider it while you are at it. I think top feeds are cheaper, not to mention easier to find / sell.

Then just get 1000cc EV14 based injectors and go with an e85 tune
