t-25 in s14 ka, max. boost?

what is the maximium boost recommended on the stock injectors for a ka with a t-25 turbo. It seems to be doing well with the 7lbs that I am running now.

that thing has gotta spool almost instantly.
from what ive been readin 6-7 psi maxes out the 270's on stock pressure, and the 370's are good to 10 or so. im not boosting yet but those are the numbers that i am going with so far.

I would say be happy with that and don't push your luck. Unless, you're just curious like me and want to put it to the test meanwhile you have a back up engine ready.

I can hear it start to spool at 1750 rpm's and the bov will go off if i let off the throttle. Does anyone with a t-25 know if 9-10 lbs is safe? i'm running 7, and am running rich it seems. mabye it is my stock fuel curve which is making it run rich at low rpm's.

I was wondering the same thing on stock injectors with my ihi, every body says that the stock injectors max out at 5psi and the 370s at 7psi but they never say with what turbo, I have ran up to 9psi by accident and I was fine. let me know what you come up with.

Stock 270cc injectors cannot do more than 200rwhp safely.

Whether that's 2psi or 15psi from your setup, that's the safe limit.

I'd bet your over that by a little bit with 7psi from a T25...you're just waiting for the day it blows due to a lean condition.

Same goes for you "Mr. Spool"...if it's an IHI T4 or bigger, you're pushing your luck.

Once the injectors go static, they can still supply fuel, but not enough for more than 200rwhp (at stock fuel pressure...).

~14psi is the common "max" on an SR.

444cc injectors, stock fuel pressure, and a max of 95% duty cycle will theoretically get you to ~292rwhp safely, if you plug the numbers.

T25 + KA + 15psi will get you to ~270rwhp I'd bet, but probably over 300rwtq...based on "AceInHole"s dynos.

T25 are only good to about ~250rwhp on an SR...it'll get you a little more from the KA, but not much.

The ihi I have is quite small, smaller than a t25 as far as I know, infact at 4psi there is little to no change over stock, but at 7psi it pulls hard, I keep it lower but due to a boost leak I was running 7 for a while.

I hit 275rwhp and 310tq at 13psi. That's with dangerous ignition timing, though. A boost retard would bring it down quite a bit....

Finally drove my car again today after putting another engine in. I had forgotten how fast the T25 spools.... seemed more instant than my friend's supercharged honda.

I couldn't recall...I was thinking 255rwhp.

I stand corrected.
