well, my cousin is one to keep well "known" sports cars. his first car was an alfa romeo spider. it was nice, until he backed up into it with his dad's trd custom tacoma. so he sold it after that, who wouldn't with a front end pushed back about a foot and a half. pretty bad for a 5mph colide. or so he claimed to be going 5mph. back on the story, he soon bought a 88 porsche 944 in burgandy. hes had it for about 2 years. well about 6 months ago once i bought my 90' 240sx fastback, i was driving my mom's town car.(to look like a pimp)

I had just bought my '91 240 SE and was on my way home from the dealer. I got passed by a Camaro on one side and a Mustang on the other driving down a long under-policed highway not far from my neighborhood.
Not quite used to what I owned yet, I figured I'd try to catch up. My previous car was enormous, so it was a bitch to accelerate and not the easiest thing to weave through traffic in either, but good lord did the 240 do both with ease. I doubt it was because my engine was any more powerful, because it probably had more to do with how fast I was willing to let my new car go, but I passed 'em both. Ah yes, I was in love with my 240 real quick. |
