Q45 Brake upgrade

I was thinking of doing the Q45 brake swap into my '92 s13 and was just wondering how many people out there have that and if it's worth doing. Seems more cost effective to me since i can get the brakes for 50 each at a salvage yard and since i'm not sure if 300z brakes will fit my 15" super fins. Thanks for any input

Well, you can look at it like this you WILL be doubling the number of pistons going with the Q45 calipers. But whether or not they will fit 15" rims is a different story all together. They arent much bigger physically, rotors are though....I know of several people who have them and with good pads will be plenty of stopping force...

z brakes will not clear superfins not even the 26mm i believe the q brakes will clear.

Instead of asking for help, go out and find it. If you want details after you've looked for threads on it by myself or others, or even GOOGLED for it, you would save yourself the trouble.

So what if i'm an asshole. I learned how to do Q45 brakes, i went through the trouble, i made my mistakes, I looked for help, i found who had it, i asked them for details, and now here I am, laughing at you.

i did them on my s13 and so far i like them alot. i need some better brake pads though, which seems to be a hard thing to find for these.

blah blah blah i was just asking a simple question, didn't mean for people to get all anal. The only fair question DrftSld asked was whether or not the brakes would fit on those specific type of wheels. Other than that, I have to agree with OptionZero with searching...

i guess after years of getting that pounded into my head from other forums, it's a natural thing for me to search before asking...then ask why the hell people don't put more keywords into old threads that matter a lot..haha
