1997 Black Nissan 240SX SE Kouki JDM Front
1997 Nissan 240SX SE Kouki (Automatic) with 134K miles in black
Please read the whole description - if you contact me asking something that can be found in this thread, you will be ignored Price: 7000 OBO (CASH) Location: San Diego, CA LINK TO PICTURES: https://goo.gl/photos/ztMJy6BJKRmCj3vK6 Please don't waste my time or yours. I do not have time for tire kickers. Test drives only with waiver signed and 1000 cash in hand - you crash it you buy it at my asking price. I understand it can be a lot of money to bring so feel free to come see it first and if you like it, get cash and you can test drive it (or come with cash and test drive it the same day). I am typically available MWFs after 6PM and on the weekends or we can meet around lunchtime in Sorrento Valley any day. Just tell me and I will bring in that car into work. Feel free to text me at 818-275-1365. Here's the scoop on the car: This is my first car in high school. I bought it with ~45K and had it for the last 12 years. I tried looking for manual but no dice back then. I put 89K miles on it so it currently has about 134K, mostly highway driving since I lived on campus in college (in both OC and SD) and went from SD/OC to LA to see the folks. I would say most of the miles were put on from 2005-2011. I do have a log of all miles driven via notebook - each time I filled up the gas tank I recorded the day with # of miles & # of gallons filled since I always filled to full. This may give you a sense of how I take care of my cars. The engine is stock and has been maintained by myself (I'm an Mech Eng) or my mechanic up in the LA area. I have invoices for most (if not all) work done on the car not related to routine maintenance and oil changes. I installed an aftermarket intake and ran that for about a year with a K&N filter but installed the stock intake is back on for smog purposes. I have 4 brand new NGK spark plugs that will be included. The exterior is in decent shape for a 19 year old car but by no means is it perfect. I’ll give you the bad: The hood’s paint has been beaten up by the sun and the clearcoat has seen better days. Same story for the back bumper and spoiler. The car has all original paint other than the hood, front bumper, back bumper, and front passenger fender. The interior is in very good shape. No stains, non-smoking. A couple marks from going in and out on the passenger side door (always the passenger’s fault…) but otherwise in great shape. However, the radio and AC bezel/trim and trunk has also seen better days (see below). The bad: About a year ago someone broke into the car and took a lot of my audio equipment and broke the tabs on the AC bezel and radio trim. Both stay on but isn’t the best. I’m sure you could jimmy rig it and make it fit properly but installing a new AC bezel and radio trim would quickly solve that issue. The headunit is fine and all the wiring is intact in the back (they didn’t get to it). I have a screaming alarm inside the cabin that deafens whoever is inside so they left pretty quickly. The crooks also stole the amps for the speakers and subwoofer so there’s loose wiring in the trunk but all the wires are set up for amps to be reinstalled. However, the RCAs will need to be replaced (one of the channels has a broken plug). You’ll just need to rewire the RCA back to the headunit and you’re good to go. The speakers worked great prior to the burglary. Here’s a list of mods and addons (I could be missing some)
