I have a few questions: first I had 235/45/17 on the car (92 fastback) but it rubbed the fenders etc really bad when turning. This is how it looked

As you can see, the wheel gap is very minimal. Since it rubbed, I am getting 16 inch rims to kind of offset that w/o having to raise the car.

My questions are, what would be the best sized tire OVERALL for a 16x8 for tracking/drifting? I'm not looking for stance.. Should the rim have an offset to help avoid rubbing? The offsets come in +20 or +0... What alignment specs would be best?
