I went to look at a 93 240 hatchback today and i was inspecting the jack tabs and two were bent and one was bent flat. Is this a major issue? Can this be fixed by a body shop?

Body shop, or a pair of pliers.

So the bent tabs have no effect on the body what so ever? This is the only thing that is keeping me from buying the car.

i think the tabs are there just for the indication were to put the jack. or its for when u hav a hydrolic lift. but i dunno, imo i dont think it has that much effect. mine are kinda bent

The bent tabs are no big deal. But by all means fix them!

mine has bent tabs too. unless you actually use the stock jack or an adaptor on a floor jack it doesn't matter.

Aite, i think i might go on with buying the car. I was just worried because someone told me the tab sills was part of the unibody structure.
