PBM comp fitment question. 18x9.5+22

Quick question for those running Pbm comps on their s13!

Im just put on my wheels in the front that are 18x9.5+22, and i am having issues with the wheels rubbing on the suspension.

What size spacer are you guys running with this same setup?

you probably only need a slip on 3mm spacer to clear the spring

thats what is confusing me, i have a 7mm spacer on there right now and still rubbing a bit.

Just ordered 15mm hubcentric spacers they should do the trick.

Still curious though if anyone else has an issue with rubbing on pbm comps with the same wheels specs

I had 17x9.5 +22 (so same issue with rubbing) with my PBM Comps and I used one of those cheap ass autozone spacers. Pretty sure it was 5mm? Maybe 7 but they were pretty thin.

okay thanks for the info guys!

15 mm should be perfect from what you guys have told me, im using a 5mm slip on right now and its not enough. after the 15mm spacer i should drop down to +7 offset and be good to go.

I have the same set up on my S13. PBM Comp's with a 17x9.5 +22 wheel. i used a 8mm spacer but found it rubbed under compression, and moved to a 10mm spacer. That was the trick with my car. You should also look into different tires, as each has a different bend to the side wall, my original set of tires bowed outwards causing rubbing too.

18x9.5+15 is minimum clearance with PBM
