SOHC maf the same as DOHC maf?

i'm about to swap a DOHC into my SOHC car and my new motor came with everything but the maf will my SOHC maf work or are they different?

they are different, hence why you can use the d maf on sr but not the DE, so I would think that you cant use the D maf on the DE cause then u would be able to use the DE maf on the SR, but you cant, u follow me?

do you mean that u can use the KA24E maf on SR20DET, but not on the KA24DE, so you you dont think that the KA24E MAF will work on the KA24DE....

i dont follow ur explanation...

The wires are the same, just a different connector. Splice it and try it. But then again that may be why mine isn't starting.....

how about the bolt pattern is that the same for SOHC and DOHC or is it different????

SOHC and DOHC MAFS are not interchangeable.
