Preference not necessarily better.
When I say low side I mean trigger the solenoid from a ground as opposed to a positive voltage I just saw it says AC, so the method you have illustrated is ideal |

I understand, thanks for your input. I’ve got a 12” pusher in front of the condenser which kicks on with a thermo switch in the ups rad hose. I’m using the oem 7M dual 6” efans and want to wire them up only to kick on when the compressor turns on.
