got my SR today

Alright tonight my SR arrived and everything looked ok and was accounted for in the order, ( ecu, uncut harness, ignitor ) but on the end of the transmition the circle is dented in a bit... is this bad?

also the shifter is stuck in what would i would guess to be 4th gear it seems like, is that normal or do i have a bad tranny?
I will try and get more information as i can but any help would be appriciated!!!

Well for shipping all the fluids have to be drained and depending on how long it was sitting after they drained the fluids is also a factor your gears could be so dried out that maybe a little condesation got in thurr and rusted something a little or it is just oxidized and stuck. The bent "Circle"....:P will be bad if you can insert the drive shaft and if it causes the rear seal.....not to....seal then yes it is bad.

Mine was a little hard to get out of gear at first but it was fine. Umm maybe try putting in oil and see if that helps at all (before you toss the tranny out). Worst comes to worse, just get a KA tranny and swap SR bellhousing

the shifter isnt just a little stuck though --- its a lot a bit stuck
somone suggested to me that i try and remove the tranny and reset the gears...but what part of the transmition do i remove the part that is on the block or the end near the shifter.... (im new sorry my terminology for some things arent accurate)
