S14 Power Window Issues?

Both of my windows have problems. Let's start with the driver side. It rolls up and down really slow.. maybe that's just me. It sometimes makes a sound like the glass hits something when it goes up. When I roll it up, it doesn't go all the way up. It goes up and is crooked so I have to pull it up straight and then I can roll it up just a bit more.

The passenger side.. little OCD here but the switch is backwards. I have to roll it the opposite way for it to go up or down. Also it rolls up and down slow too.

Do I need new window motors? Amps? Could something be in my window rail? I searched but haven't seen anything really like the problem that might be the rails. and the backwards switch.

not sure about the glass hitting anything but im wondering if anyone has done any wiring mods to your car. if you arent sure, take panels off and check.

i just wired in 530T window module for my alarm and didnt realize i mixed up the wires leading to switch and window would go up when you try to open and go down when you try to close.

check inside the door is my best suggestion. could be a simple problem.

If it acts like something is binding up then its most likely the regulator acting up. I suggest you pull it apart to inspect the regulator assy. before you end up burning up the motor itself.

reverse the two wires to the motor on the passenger side, the polarity is backward. sounds like a regulators gone bad on the driver. hope this helps

Honestly not trying to be a cunt but this shit is inevitable lol. Older Nissans are good for two things: dash rattles and shitty power windows.
