Okay, here's the problem. While cruising at low rpms, 1500 - 2000 rpm, when i step on the gas, the engine starts to vibrate very violently and it shakes the whole car. If i gas it very slowly, it's fine but otherwise it rattles like a mutha. Anyone know what this could be?

Does it still vibrate when you rev up to 2000 rpm in neutral?

I had a similar problem once. Motor mount was leaking and the valve cover seal was letting onto the spark plugs.

open hood and stand in front. have someone start the car. when it starts, does it flop all over like a fish out of water? if so, motor mounts have crapped out.
