i used a hammer, no heat, did not crack my primer :-p
rolled it flat against the outer part so my rear fenders are literally shaped like U instead of L |

GushiAuto is a horrible shop if you want your fenders rolled. NiteKids (Henry, banned memeber of zilvia) had his S14's rear fenders rolled by gushi-san. And I must say, ugliest shiEt ever! They seriously fucked up his sweeet sweeeet S14. I'm sure they do good engine swaps and stuff, but as far as fender rolling goes. THEY ARE SUCKs ASS!

You can ask Henry himself what happen. When it comes to fender rolling pulling it that much out will crack the paint. They did one side without cracking paint and perfect also, the other side came out mess up because Henry's car has been in a accident and the bondo(fiberglass) cracks and can't be roll out smoothly. People tend to pass words around and it's not fair to them. Thank you, Sam ![]()

you guys do realize that rolling is taking metal that isn't seen and tucking it up under the fender, right? i mean, so long as ya make sure ya don't bend the actual sheet metal that people see it'd all be kosher.

patience? it took me 20 mins for both fenders, took one of those metal working hammers...kinda shaped like <||> like some crazy tomahawk, and heavy metal, started hitting it, HARD...just make sure you dont miss and hit the back side of the fender, cuz then you'll feel stupid and your car will look it too. just go from the middle, outwards on both sides

You guys who keep mentoning bats and hammers have to realize that there are so many different levels of rolling/pulling. Rolling them is easy with a hammer or bat, you will be a lot more accurate and get more mm if you use the tool. I rolled mine with a jack handle the first time just to get my car moving, but then rolled them with a roller.
If you want some crazy pulls you either have to be really good and slow, or cut and pull then fill.

Grant and I did my rears at the last drift day on my rest time cause my drift steelies didn't fit with the lowering/-1 rear camber. Just used a hammer, not bad, beat the hell out of it for a while. came out ok and wasn't as hard as i expected. But then again, i did it without really caring about the paint or body of my car.
however, i can see that doing it with a hammer won't get it as flat as you might want, its enough to get by, but if you want to squeeze an extra mm or 2, or get that perfect roll, a tool is probably best.
