A vote for Bush = a vote for the terrorists, because Osama bin Laden said on TV last week that if we keep pissing him off he will blow up more shit, and the TV is always right.

I disagree with that ad and am glad it was put out by the FLC. John Kerry, btw, never said terrorism was a nuisance, he said that he wants to reduce it to but a nuisance.

Scare tactics suck, but seem to be a favorite of BOTH parties at this juncture.

Of course he's gonna say that....then they are gonna hit us again when they have time to stop and breathe again, from being chased all over the world by our soldiers, then they are gonna plan some more and level a few more city blocks in some other city somewhere...dont be so naive...Believe it or not, Bush IS winning the war on Terror, Iraq and Afganistan are 2 small countries in this global conflict, this is one reason we havent been hit since 9-11...take the fight to them instead of fighting them here after the fact....

I was telling a JOKE, calm down dude... I guess next you will fall off into a soliloquy about the "liberal media" and explain to me every little point about how Bush is winning a "war on terror," if ever a thing could ever exist. Can't stop malicious intent, no matter how many "wars on terror" you launch. Remember the "war on drugs," the last big bullshit war against an intangible we were forced into?

I totally agree with Phlip, and I've been stressing to everyone that, if you look terrorism up, terrorism is a tactic, not a state actor or even an organization. To win a war against terror is like saying something stupid like doing away with hate in the world. Terrorism has been around since the dawn of civilzations, and will continue to do so.

As for Kerry wishing to reduce terrorism to a minor nusiance, Since the first Bush administration and the start of the first Gulf war, terrorist acts have been commited against the U.S. in small volume and intensity. However an increasing expansionist ideology has caused the isolationist middle east region to retaliate against forces of globalization. The very beginings could really be traced back to 1947 with Israel, however with an American expansionist foreign policy agenda, there will obviously be more conflict. Kerry just wants to reduce the conflict and normalize relations.
