i actaully think the new type s looks better then the spec 2 being non digital. and looks pretty user friendly, even though both of them would be. what is everyone's opinion. the type s can be seen at phase2motortrend. would the type s perform any better?

yea...thas all gay....get an AVC-R...best boost controler ever!!! and if anyone says its hard to set up...u are retarded!!

Profec B spec II is also a warning light when boost spikes (which can than defualt to a lower preset boost).. also be used as a boost guage. I dont think the TYpe S can do that.

naw the type s is just a simple controller...gain, low boost, and high boost. no warning functions. avcr is spendy man...otherwise i'd get it.

spendy but worth it if u wanna monitor things other then boost. it can be had on ebay for less the 400 new

I loved my spec 2 on my Lexus; and I know a bunch of people that have it... its the best EBC for the money period... its easy to tune, easy to hookup, etc...

i've still got mine sitting in a box, waiting for the turbo project to begin on the S13
