It says that if you have a jdm kilometer per hour speedometer you can solder in this chip and you convert the gauge to mph. It turns your 180 kph speedo into a 180 mph one!! And it removes the speed limiter!! Anybody want to buy me one so I can open it up, make a whole bunch, and give it to everyone else for $5?

there is a way to solder a (lower, or higher...cant remember) resistor...makes the speedo 180mph...

personally i doubt that any of you actually can go that fast

Meh, only Americans would want to retain the Imperial System.. I have a nice 240km/h cluster!

i believe that this little chip can convert the KPH to MPH but on the speed limiter issue...what is this Initial D? now that your gauge reads it, you can go that fast?

THe chip is very simple it takes the input (speed sensor) pulses and drops the pulses to adjust the readout

these are very common in the UK as mainland european cars are KPH and they use MPH so if a car is imported later these are used to make life easy on the driver
