FS 1996 240sx 2jz s14 kouki
*SOLD*
12k FIRM Alas I must part with my CLEAN, 2jz swapped 1996 Nissan 240sx, with 1997 Kouki front end conversion. 102,500 original miles on the chassis. Clean title. After getting this running I only drove it probably 2,000 miles. Video link of it running: https://photos.app.goo.gl/JX1XrAubEQNPaoP57 ( it does hit 10psi now, even though it didn't back when I took this vid ) PICS: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/mthug7td2...yvDIQy2ca?dl=0 Aristo 2jzgte VVTI swapped engine running stock twins ( from Canada, they estimated about 40k miles was on the engine at the time I installed it ) Engine runs great, idles great. Supra Mark IV NA W58 transmission smooth shifting. This is not the weak W58's this is the strongest W58, good for 400-450HP. Engine totally stock except boost controller installed to avoid boost cut. RPS Max street clutch kit and flywheel resurfaced ( good to 450hp, and engages super smooth ) Nearly all seals/hoses replaced. Bought full OEM complete gasket kit. No leaks. Xcessive swap kit Heat works Power steering works A/C compressor in place, but not lines and condenser are not hooked up. Brakes are great, no warped rotors Power windows/ locks all work fine. 1997 altima fans install, wired for only one fan on hispeed right now and it cools great, never overheated. THESE BLOW HARD CXRacing 3" Intake Kit For 2JZ-GTE Motor with Stock Turbo S13 S14 S15 Swap I welded the aluminum hot pipe myself. KOYO aluminum radiator Replaced OEM water pump Replaced OEM TSTAT Replaced Timing belt with Gates Blue racing timing belt AND tensioner Replaced front main seal and rear main seal Replaced spark plugs with NGK bkr6eix-11 Replaced oil pan gasket/RTV Replaced fuel filter Compression tested: 174,172,176,175,176,177 AEM TruBoost A piller mounted Apexi turbo timer AEM uego wideband A piller mounted Dakota Digital included EGT gauge, probe installed, gauge is not installed in dash Walbro 255 fuel pump Greddy front mount intercooler Tial BOV ( not installed ) custom exhaust no cat, Magna Flo muffler sounds great, wideband installed and working, and OEM O2 sensor installed and working Nearly new Cusco RS LSD ( not installed but will include with purchase ) steel custom driveshaft from the awesome people at The Driveshaft Shop Code alarm brand ca-1550 alarm system Suspension: Megan racing springs KYB GR2 suspension Godspeed adjustable toe arms new sikky sway bar, not installed Exterior: 1997 Kouki front end conversion Kouki side skirts Black paint in great condition. Original OEM paint was red 17x9 rota p45r bronze wheels. 245 40 r17 rear 235 45 r17 Nitto Invo tires. Fronts have lots of tread left usdm font lip 8k HIDs LED license plate lights Interior: The interior is in good shape. There is the infamous crack on the dash, but besides that there's nothing else wrong Blue LED dome light white LED trunk light Issues: Won't boost over 10psi even with EBC set to 18psi. I believe the stock ECU is causing this. I didn't have time to go custom engine management with it which I'm sure will fix this. stock open differential shifter hole needs covering and shift knob needs glued, or you can pick your own knob. Speedometer doesn't work because incompatible speed sensor on the W58. Supposedly you can fix this with the Dakota Digital No trades, cash only. Last edited by rswails; 04-03-2019 at 02:46 PM.. i hope you put that ECU in some sort of sealed box. leaving it out in the open is asking for trouble. i also hope whoever ends up with this cleans up the wiring..

'Not even a real Kouki' ?????
Is that a real thing? You guys looking for matching numbers now too? Awe man, he took out the original motor too, now it's not even a 240. Anyway, got excited for a 96 or under with a kouki front end, cuz newer then 96 is extra emissions regulations in my part. Just a bit illogical to me considering the S-chassis culture and appeal has been based around frankensteining whatever motor, brakes, interiors, etc... It's a great chassis, not even a good package from the manufacturer. Wasn't Odessey Van front ends some perverted trend for a bit. |

I should have posed that different. I'm looking for a zenkie with a kouki front end. The front I want without having the extra issues with emissions.
Really, what is the benefit of a real kouki? Honest question |

Imagine theres a rebuilt KA-T on 13lbs making 400rwp on a 1995 zenki going for 7k and its reliable as can be with a mint interior. And then theres a busted rad, blown head gasket and the bay looks like trash of an sr20det. rust spots on the car and missing a seat as well as a headlight for 6k. Most "non-Schassis" people will consider the the kouki strictly based on looks and that is has a more aggressive look rather than what's there to fix. I do hate my 95 sometimes just because this stupid door harness wiring and the small tid bits that the 97s and 98s have that was further integrated into the full dash harness. But over all I honestly rather prefer a beautiful Car modify wonder zenki with a stock SR tuned to about 350. Perfect daily car right there IMO. |
