I had them on mah 'Teg before, and they not all dat. Dont grip too good. I would suggest Yokohama's A520/Parada's or if u wanna spend then go wif TOYO's or BFGoodrich (I think dat how u spell it).

Nitto is Shitto...

Check out the reviews on 240sx.org.

I've never heard a good thing about Nittos from anyone that actually used performance tires.

stop talking like an idiot

you basically lose all credibility......and i also assume you're about 12 years old

back to the matter at hand; if you really want some nice tires, get Bridgestone S02's or S03's. 520's wear out really fast, but are pretty sticky.

Not too long ago (might still be on) tire rack was selling Michellin Mxx3 pilots for like 159 a piece for 215/45/17's and any tire good enough to keep a viper on the ground is good enough for me.

Check out the Dunlop Sport SP w-10 tires. I had them on my 91 Integra and immediately bought them for my 240 when I got it. They are GREAT tires. They grip like crazy and have excellent wet weather grip. At $92 a tire (what I paid last August) they are an excellent deal.

Tire Rack ratings and info: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/dunlop/du_w10.jsp

Good luck, and stay away from those Nittos.

I gotta say I'm still a big fan of the Potenza RE730, I had those for awhile and I liked them a lot. Ran them during a weekend road racing event, good price too, between $91-99/tire

I got a Set of Kumho Ecsta 712's on saturday and they are REALLY nice. I put 205/55/16's on the stock 7 spoke wheels (Got a 92) They Stick really well. I can barely get the car to chirp 2nd anymore, and I can run the backroads behind my house about 10mph faster than before. Mean looking tread pattern. They are a little harsh, but not bad. Just feels like you have some sportier suspension or something. I recommend them. I've heard they don't have great wear though. It was 420 and some change installed w/ tax and all. So pretty good deal for some nice performance tires.

I would say for a cheap performance tire, go with Kumhos. They run a little narrow, but overall, a great bang for the buck tire.

Wet traction is especially good. I'm running 205/50/15 on stock rims right now. Over 20,000 hard miles and still have good grip.

Geeaj - Did putting 50's on there make the gap appear bigger? I figured widening the tire to 205 would make a 55 height about the same as a 195/60, and put next to each other, they appear near identical in height. So I figured the 50 would make my car look like a tonka truck
