04 Mazda RX8 LS Swap Project for sale
It’s been a long time coming but it’s time to move on to other and better things. I’ve decided to sell my project car. This car currently runs and drives but does need a little bit to be finished. I’ve just lost interest and the drive to continue building this car. I’ve put countless hours and thousands of dollars into this car. The price will be $7000 as it sits right now. I of course will continue to fix the problems the car has until it is sold. If the car has not sold and I have fixed the current problems, the price will go up significantly. Body: 6.5/10 Completely stock body with a few dings here and there but overall the body is fairly straight. Front bumper is cracked and repaired with a drifters stitch. Could use a new bumper. So now onto what the car needs to be finished and what I have. Currently needs a new transmission, trans lost 5th and 6th but it’s still drivable in 1-4. CD009 can be shipped for 750 so there not too bad to replace. Needs exhaust to be redone from headers back to clearance the transmission but I have all of the stainless piping, flanges and gaskets to get fabbed up. I also have a very good fabricator at Boosted Innovations who can put it all together for a little extra. Finally the car needs to be tuned. It runs and drives but needs a tune pretty bad. I also have a AlphaLoc flange and 4” aluminum tubing to build a custom cold air intake for the car for $200 extra. The car doesn’t have power steering (most likely needs a rack but who needs power steering anyway lol) and the car doesn’t have AC. I love this car to death but it’s time to let her go to a better home. Keep in mind this is a project car so please don’t waste my time with lowball offers. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY.
