Cut it. Yellow wire with green stripe and silver dots coming from ECU on the 8th pin from the right. Make sure BOTH battery cables are off the car when you do this. Try to search for this topic if you can- we've been talking about this FOREVER.

Good Luck!

I would go 110 in my old Dub, but that is cause it was a beater. I don't want to take the 240 over 100mph. I don't want to abuse it, but on some 5 minute highway drives I will keep it at around 90mph.

if you have an 89-90 don't cut the wire. unless somebody on here has and they figured it out. i cut mine and my speed limiter dropped to 90 and was hitting my rev limiter at 4000 in 3rd gear. yeah, i put it back the way it was &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

100+ is an everyday thing for me. but everyone else is doing 80, and it's a loooooong highway with straightaways for a couple miles where cars don't enter.

Someone please correct me, because I'm pretty sure I'm wrong:

Isn't that sort of what the Fuel Cut Defencer (???) or whatever it's called does?

If not, what DOES the Fuel Cut Defencer do? (sounds like it would stop us from running lean at higher rpms...???)

I could name a couple guys I know that when making trips down here for meets from Atalnta, do an average of 125~135 mph all the way down. All of which have ECUs from JWT that have had the speedo limiter disengauged

To this day don't know how they don't get caught....haha.

I am haven't hit my speed limiter yet (probably because I haven't gone over 120mph), but I don't want it there. &nbsp; Is there a better way to get rid of it....like removing it completely from the car? &nbsp;I only let her go everyonce in a while, like when my friend in his int. needs to be brought back down to earth to remind him he drives a Honda.
