KA HKs Compressor Surge

have the HKS Super BOV, theres a handful of post about them. but first i had nipple hooked up, leaked at idle. then ran a hose from the larger vacuum nipple under TB and t'd the hose to both nipples on the BOV. during vacuum, little boost i hear fluttering but higher a pshhh.. then i swithed out on of the hoses from the T (had a hole) and now more fluttering but Mid boost i get a mix of flutter and pshhh then full boost i get a nice pshhh . but i havent herd compressor surge so i dunno if its the sound of bov or its just not opening. note that since i changed out the last vacuum line its been working alot quicker and picking up awesome. Talking about the SSQV .. right ?

I get the same thing, flutter w/ low boost, higher pitch with more boost. normal to me ( wow ..amazing, more pressure to release, higher noise level, chage of pitch, crazy)

Not the SSQV. its the HKS SUper Blow. Piston Shaped. I do not know what a compressor surge sounds like i read post on "kakakaka" but i have small flutter i dunno. maybe someone might have a sound clip or experince with the blow off valve

im am in the same boat, i was told by another user that the flutter is ok and wont hurt the turbo so i am guess the flutter is not same as the compressor surge, I have heard the same flutter on other car SR20 on SER had same flutter and was running a Greddy Type R bov and those bovs require more power(boost) to set them off so im guess that the flutter is ok. I have the SAME bov by the way and i have mine T off also. well maybe someone will post some good news good luck.
