s13 best suspension for s13?

I want to know what you think is the best suspension set up you can put together, i.e coilover, springs, sway, etc.

Main purpose is daily driven, but has to be real good in the twisties. Just a comparison, I've driven a newer A4 and 5-series with sport suspension and they feel great in the twisties. That's more or less the type of ride I'm looking to set up in my s13. Any info or suggestions will be appreciated.

of course budget would be a good thing to include in that post but since you said "best suspension setup you can buy" then u should get the spl aragosta setup and let me know how you like it, I dont know much about the highend shit, so i donno if thats the best, but as far as good stuff for good price, the spl kts coilovers are a top choice for many people and then of course links and bars and whatever other tubular metal u can fit in the car.

Okay, Im not going to flame but I am going to point you in the direction of the reviews section and several different manufacutres of suspension components (JIC, Tein, Tanabe etc.,) to learn what each of these products provide over another.

Seriously, as a new member your first order of business would be to start searching around a poking your nose in conversations regarding suspension components.

Ill give you some basics:
  • Spings/Shock combinations tend to be easier on the ride...
  • Swaybars or Strut Braces can cause accidental "drifting"...
  • Anything that makes your car turn better, will reduce its "comfort" (I dont want to debate this...)

Understand that these are GENERAL comments and are not technical in anyway, simply from experience and real world reactions in comfort vs. performance applications.

Good lock, get some KYB AGX Adjustables and H&R Sport Springs, if your into it stay there. If its still comfy get some JIC FLT-A2's and kick ass...
