Opinion: Kouki S14 + Version Select + Advan 18's

My Kouki got into an accident last year (Not my fault), and the insurance cut me a check for $3000.

So far i've order a Version::Select (Version III) kit to repair the damages to my car.

And then i started thinking that with this kit, i'd need a dope set of wheels. -Can't go stock SE wheels

What do you guys think about my black Kouki with these wheels?

18" 5x114.3 Gold Advan TC 2's with Yokohama Advan Neova tires. The fronts are 18x8.5 with 22 offset on 225/35/18, rears are 18x9.5 with 35 offset on 255/35/18.

Gold and black = teh win?

those wheels really aren't uras style, but that mostly means that your wheels have to stick out further than the flares of the kit. if you go low enough offset and/or spacers, i think it would be sick, especially on black. make it YOUR style; sort of heartwork-meets-nomuken.

bottom line: do it, but with better offsets

p.s. do the spokes get more concave with lower offsets?

Wheels are bad ass, I have always loved the TC IIs. The offsets could be better, but spacers will solve that.

For the rest, Zenki front end, no aero.

if you want 5-spoke wheels for that kit, make someone get you Bee-R wheels.

Uras/Version 3 requires something crazy (lip, sunken in spokes, or really big vip wheels) TCIIs are too simple.

Thanks for everyone's input.

I didn't think the Version 3 would be so flared until i took a closer look at other pictures. When i found that out, it was too late and i knew regular wheels weren't going to do.

The TC II's are nice because i'm getting them for a good price ($1550 with almost new Neova tires).
i couldn't get SP1's or Meisters for this price.

Hopefully with spacers, things would "fit".

The TCII looks just like a Gram Light 57F to me in that pic...is it just me? 5 spoke, relatively narrow straight spokes, jsut that that pic seems high offset

i agree.. TCII is very nice wheel but you need more aggresive wheels to match your bodykit style...
