hey you guys

i can't put my 89 240 into gear when the engine is on

but when i turn off the engine, i can slam it into gear, and then turn the engine on, and the car is able to go.... so its not like the clutch cable is disconnected.

my friend had a similar problem and he said that it was related to a leak in the master cylinder.

does anyone have any ideas?

also where is the clutch master cylinder located?
