ecu buzzing at certain rpm

Hi, ive been having this problem for awhile and it always starts at 2500 and ends at 2700. Other than that my car runs fine and no codes are showing up. does anybody know what i can check or know exactly whats going on?? THx..

lol... that's not your ECU.

I have that same buzzing sound. when you hold the rev there ("there" depends on the temperature of the weather and other factors), it makes a "BZZZZ" sound.

that's most likely some part of the exhaust system (by manifold). I think for me, it's my heatshield, since mine's not tightened right.

Try checking that out

nah its the the ecu....i even took out the ecu and had my gf listen to see if that was the buzz...

How exactly did you do that and still drive the car around?

I strongly doubt its your ECU thats actually making the noise. There's nothing in the ecu to make noise. Maybe its not bolted it down properly? If its not tightened down right it could be rattling around. Maybe thats the noise you hear. If its not that, then the noise is coming from somewhere else.

see the thing is that it always happens at the same rpm and ends at the same rpm accelerating and downshifting and never has it stopped.

Mine rattles a little bit but thats because I couldnt find bracket so its just sitting there...
Most likely its just loose in the bracket or something.
