Does anyone know how to or has retained cruise control after the SR swap? I have searched the forums and can't find anything. I looked at my throttle body of off my KA but the cooling out let or inlet get in the way. Any suggestion?

there is one guy on here thats done it. UcanTry i beleive. I think he used a SOHC parts to make it work. But i'm not sure. You could also get an after market unit. I didn't bother even thinking about it when I did the swap.

BTW, where in TN are you?

im just gonna tell you before one of the mods do. you might want to wait more than 4 hours before you bump a thread

Use the KA throttle body. Done.

the KA throttle body doesnt work, i tried. I rigged a second cable to the throttle body and Im using and aftermarket cruise control unit that runs off vacume pressure.

Strange. The KA works on an S13 SR fine, you just have to cut the coolant lines off. You can also swap the butterfly and sensor over from the KA if you feel like it and use the SR unit.

The way the sensors connect to the throttle body do no match up and could you go into more detail on the cutting coolent lines? Are you just removing them all together?

Remove them completely. Bypass where they originate from.

Problem has been fixed. Thanks for all the info. Just removed the coolant lines and put new straight ones in.

I am also looking into cruise for my SR. I have a throttle body from a lo-port USDM fwd engine - 95-99 Sentra SE and 200SX SE-R, as well as the 1994 Sentra SE-R and some of the G20s. It looks as if it'll bolt right up, the coolant ports are pointed in nearly the right direction, and the two butterflies are on the correct side. I may have to jockey with the cable lengths but I think it'll work, and it will be probably the easiest option.

ummmm to make the Ka one work all we did was break off the cooling inlet and outlet lines and remove them with an easy out. Then tapped new holes and put new straight inlet and outlet lines on.

That's cool. If my way works no drilling/tapping/anything will be needed, just swap one TB for the other. I'll update whenever I get to it.
