They've been discontinued. I think the company, C's, or formally, "Comrad" went out of business.

Anyway, I agree, having the original if you can find one is worth it. I obtained a new C's for my S14 last year, nice short, and crisp throws. Increases the weight of the throw for a nice feel. No problems whatsoever, and very quiet (inside the car).

C's went out of business a while ago so their shifters have become harder and harder to find. I have one and love it though.

If I hear one more person bitching about the noise a B&M makes, I am going to make some noises of my own... I see it as coming with the territory, and thr good FAR outweighs the bad

B&M is cool. But I like the C's better. Even though I dont have one but I drove cars with both of the shifters. B&M is a shorter throw than the C's. I like the C's though. Feels good to me.

The newer B&M's arent suppose to rattle as much or make noise or whatever you wanna call it.

C's didn't go out of business, it was bought out by another company in Japan. As soon as I get done with updating the top secret website i'll be creating a new C's website.

from driving my car with a b&m and boro's car with a C's... there is a difference in shifts between b&m and C's. b&m is much shorter, and shifts feels notchy, bad side is the damn rattle at high rpms, and takes some effort to shift but u get used to that quick. There are threds on zilvia that people have solved the rattling, w/e i use the rattle as my shift point.. C's is a lil longer throws, not as hard to shift, and no damn noise... i forgot if the c's shifter is a 2 piece shifter, and people say the glue can break.. but i ono

personal preference between the two shifters..

im biased, so i say go for the b&m

Its one piece foo

Driving both I belive the C's is better for street use and such. The longer stroke compared to the B&M is a good thing IMO because your less likley to grind (Due to cold trannie fluid and user) and its a lot less notchey. But really it just comes down to the user, if you like a super short throw then go B&M and if you like a longer throw go C's.

You don't need a short shifter to drive on the track! I've driven cars with shoft shifters before and they don't always feel good so I'm kinda on the wall about installing mine.

Also, longer throws = less shifting effort.

Yeah but when I shift with stock shifters now, it seriously is like rowing a boat. Really crazy....

I agree with the person who posted that it's a matter of preference. If you're a hardcore driver who likes stripped cars, loud exhusts, rattles, and cardboard floor mats, B&M's are more suited for you.

For those who want a better feel, the way 240's should have felt stock, comfy yet firm, C's is great.

I disagree with this whole driver who likes strpped cars, loud exhaust, rattles, and cardboard floor mats uses a b&m...

my car has all its interrior in it still, decently loud exhuast, lowered, anti sways, etc etc etc... im all about making my car comfortable, and able to still handle well and can perform well on track days.. but yet... i have a b&m... OOooO shit i must be a hardcore 1337 driver cus my shifter rattles at 5500rpm...

boro s13 has a completly gutted interrior, but u dont see him getting a super loud exhuast and a b&m... he has the total opposite, super JDM quiet exhuast and a c's shifter..

but im glad that you agree its about personal preference..

susuki, the 240 community is pretty large now.. just go find someone with a C's and someone with a b&m and drive it... see which one u like better and which one will suit u and you car.
