why do 95-96 and 97-98 have diff part nubmers for throwout bearings? i thought that all S14's (as long as they are obd2) were identical as far as drivetrain. i am worried i will gert wrong tranny for my 98 s14 with 96KA

Don't look at that. The bearing has a different taper on the lip, but either one works, and if you're swapping the clutch you'll get a new one anyway.

Bottom line, you KNOW the transmission is identical, the rest is all swappable as well.

they have 2 diffrent part numbers because one is 15 bucksand the other one is 65 bucks!
