I always hear altezas-like is rice but a lot of D1 drifters have those?

like full body kit, huge wings, etc and having NO motor work.

nah rice is a topic which noobs post up cars that have what would be considered "ricey parts" aka altezzas, and make sure the poeple says its not rice so that they may go out and buy the same items.

IMO, rice is when someone cares more about the looks of their car and not performance. A 240 with an intake, catback exhaust and rims, isn't rice IMO. But a 240 with rims, a muffler, a FANG bodykit, and a $3000 paint job is rice.

thats how i see it, if ur frekaen fast and ur car performance nd ur driving skill can prove to be able to have parts to showw off ur car then u can rice ur car without being dissed on. but if ur car is as slow as a auto civic and have converted ur car to a damn s14 thats juss ???

i think he even missed my point entirely.

it doesn't matter how fast your car is on the street if it isn't a real life RACE CAR stickers and flashy stuff do not belong on it. race cars do not count because they are rolling billboards. if your street car is sponsored by some companies, fine whatever, its still rice if you put APC crap on there.

for example..i drive a pink car. well it's faded to a cone orange now, maybe salmon LOL. but anyways..99% of people think it's a rice rocket. well..i see a kid in a mitsubishi eclipse and maybe all it has is rims and and exhaust...but he's the ricer to me. Just cause i KNOW he is. Or i see a kid in an MR2 with exhaust and a wing...ricer. The obvious ones are too easy to call, so i dont bother. Just cause you havent made your car outrageous ugly YET doesnt mean you arent a ricer.

and to pull a quote from the past

ie: to the domestic guys we are all ricers. The civic guys may be ricers to us. etc.. it's in the eye of the beholder.

I actually see m-sport has the exactly same tail light in their catalog (180sx and S15).....for $500!!! I think it doesnt looks that bad on 180 but just unfortunately the public already created a negative opinion about it. But i agreed with above statement: we are all ricers with rice rocket.... ... just matter of if we are bad rice or good rice.
