My s14 makes this noise almost exactly at 3000rpm, but it only happens consistently when I'm using backpressure. The gears aren't grinding, it sounds almost like a really dry, almost wheezy/chirpy noise? I don't think it's low tranny fluid, because it shifts smoothly still at all gears. If there are filings in the fluid, would it make that noise maybe? I don't have any real space to do any fluid changes at my place, so if you guys have ideas on what the heck is causing this, please let me know!
