Starter issues

Hi guys..

I'll keep it short and sweet..

Car's not starting.. simply very fast clicking. Had the battery tested, works 100% so oviously it's either a dead starter or a bad ground right? I checked my battery connection and the engine ground connection and they are just marvellous. I can't get to the starter cause I can't get under the car. So it's more than likely a bad solinoid in the starter right? I was able to get it to start a couple times, after either a bunch of clicks or I was lucky once and it just started right up, but now it's not being nice at all. Also every time it's clicking its resetting a fuse or something because my clock resets and my cd ejects..

Sound like a typical starter problem???

Thx!

Well I took my starter off, to get rebuild if it's possible, but if not, what kinda of replacement starter would I get since it's an SR? I checked the parts listing in the FAQ, but it's not listed? I'm guessing I can use one from a sentra???

also check your starter relay. Mine was bad even though i changed and rebuilt the starter. Wasted $160. I took off the relay and used a jumper plug bten the wires to connect it. Right now, my car starts w/o having to step on the clutch. Turn the key and start .
