Wheel question....

yes I know but again, no time to search. Want to know what the correct offset would be when going to 17x8" wheel? I am thinking it would be around 30mm maybe 25mm being ideal but it's hard not to spend a wad of cash on the proper offset. If I did a 35mm offset with 5mm spacer's and hubcentric rings would that bring my to where I need to be? Need to be be my definition would mean as close to flush with the wheel wells as possible BTW

I am in and out of my cube all day, that means I cannot sit and search, I said that before. If I was sitting at home this wouldn't be an issue but it is right now so thrown down your torch

Basically, what he is saying is that he would rather wade through a thread FULL of individuals who are absolutely fed the hell up with seeing the same question weekly, and will therefore not answer it outside of telling him to search. He tried to justify it with saying that he just doesn't have time to search, completely ignoring the fact that he will have wasted 5 times MORE time than that search would have taken, all while annoying countless people in the process...

""oh how long can trusty Cadet Stimpy hold out?"
"... HOW can he possibly resist the diabolical urge to push the button that could erase his very existence"
"... WILL his tortured mind give in to its uncontrollable desires?"
"... CAN he withstand the TEMPTATION to push the button that EVEN NOW beckons him ever closer?"
"... WILL he succumb to the maddening urge to eradicate history with the MERE PUSH OF A SINGLE BUTTON?"
"... the BEAUTIFUL SHINY button"
"... the JOLLY CANDY LIKE button"
" WILL he hold out folks, CAN he hold out?!!?""
