Steering Issue

Well, I just picked up my S13 today. On the drive home I noticed that there is a little slack in the steering. I guess you could call it play. There's approximately 1" of slack when I go from steering right to left. I checked the PS fluid, and attempted to see if there was air in the lines. I know on my FWD SR to bleed bubbles out of the line all you had to do was take the cap off, and turn the wheel back and forth. So I did the same. The car has a redtop. Thanks in advance.

worn bushings probably. im sure searching for "steering problems" or something along those lines will get you started on diagnosing the problem..

Yeah I did an search for power steering. I thought bushings as well. But it seems like it's more than that. The wheel has no resistance for about 1-2" when switching from left to right, or vice versa.
