tonite, when i start my engine and leave my friend's house, and then i step on my brake pedal, my headlight turns off and all the light inside my car go dimmer and my car almost die... also hicas light turns on and my tachometer seems like go crazy... what's wrong? my battery gets some problems??? but it's a new battery... any idea will be appreicate, thanks!

A description of what you're driving and a list of mods would be a good idea. I'm guessing this is a stock S13 with KA24de? If it's a new battery, why did you replace it before? It could be your alternator that's bad..

This happens on my SR at the moment
When the steering wheel is at a certain position the interior lights and dash lights, as well as Heat and radio work fine, turn the steering wheel to a diff position and they do not, at that position where the lights dim, you can then hit the brakes to turn off the radio.

it is very confusing

That happens to me when my car is in neutral and I step on the brakes the interior lights dim a little.

Booster check valve if it's idle related.

Alternator if it's load related.
