Guys - have a friend with a spare stock Evo8 turbine, would this be good on the SR20DET? Sorry don't know a lot about turbines...

How much WHP would it be good for and will it be laggy?

It uses a Mitsu flange... You would have to custom fab a manifold, O2 housing, oil and coolant lines for it to work. Not worth the effort IMO.

Gonna need a custom fab manifold anyways - not many bigger T28s here.

If I have a welder that can make me a custom fab, how is the turbo?
