intake air temp sensor mounting

96 240sx w/ ka

just wondering if anyone has mounted this sensor onto their IC/intake piping. i could always go for the gm iat with a 3/8" bung, but if i could keep my harness in one piece this would be even better as it already functions well. thanks for any input.

You can just drill a hole for it anywhere on the pipe, or leave it hanging. It's only purpose is for OBD monitoring, won't even matter if it's plugged in or not.

im running a map setup with a standalone, so i'd like to have it for extra enrichment when intake temps are hot. i was thinking of drilling the cold pipe and then trying to seal it up with some epoxy/sealent, but im not too sure how its gonna like 15 psi.
