I went to change my trans fluid yesterday and the drain bolt was stripped. Its a softer metal and i cant get anything in there? any ideas?

I would use an Eazy-Out but that means you'll need a new drain plug. You can pick a set up at Autozone for like 8 bucks. http://www.mytoolstore.com/kd/kdspec06.html see the spiral screw extractor, use that. All you have to do is drill a hole and use one of the extractor. Maybe someone will have a better idea but that's what I would do.

I tried to unbolt it with 1/2" but it started to strip so I stopped.
What do you guys use to unbolt it? 1/2" seemed a little smaller.

Use some vice grips. IMO
