lug nuts

has anyone used the buddy club or trust lug nuts? any opinions? becaus i have muteki lug nuts now and i dont like them and im looking for something alittle better

What was wrong with your Muteki lug nuts before? They're lug nuts... all they do is hold your wheel on.

well if it makes you feel better, i've broken muteki lugnuts before with the cheap ass key the supply @80ft lbs.

Kyokugen keys are a lil more sturdier, but not a whole lot better

Rays lugs/keys are durable but not worth the money

Work lugs "feel" a lil brittle

C-West feels solid are are cheap compared to Rays/Works lugnuts

sure they hold your wheels on, but it doubles up as a "security" measure with the distinct lugnut shape (nothing a gator grip will crack open for you though )

the box mine came in did have a big warning saying not to torque over 70 ft-lbs, so them breaking at 90 doesnt seem all that strange.

What the fuck are you guys tightening to 90ft/lbs? The lugnuts aren't supposed to go that high, nor are aftermarket wheels.

the muteki ones say they are supposed to be torqued to 86ft/lbs if im not mistaken

odd, mine said 88 N-m is recommended, which is under 70 ft-lbs i believe.
