need some help - Zilvia.net Forums | Nissan 240SX (Silvia) and Z (Fairlady) Car Forum

im not new to the 240sx world but ive just run into a few new questions. if anyone can help me id appreciate it. i just got a 97 J30 rear subframe and im hoping theres enough there to complete a LSD swap. the output shafts are different and but i have the axles. but my 240 does not have ABS, so basically im wondering if i can use the diff and the j30 axles to work in my S14. and also i just picked up a KA out of a 94 240 and i was wondering if that was still the s13 motor and if so is there much of a difference. basically i need to know if i can swap the s13 motor into my s14. please help me out ive tried researching and not coming up with too much.

Yes its fine, 94 s13 ka came in auto, there is no diff between the 91-94 de motor, despite the 91 cam bullcrap rumors. And yes you can swap the s13 ka in your s14.

yeah it's the same shit, just it looks different.. the s14 motor has more wires hanging around in the engine bay..
