s13 Cruise control with SR20DET?

is it possible to have working cruise control with a SR20DET? my SR doesn't have the second mechanism on the throttle body for cruise control. can i swap throttle bodys (prefer not to)?

I think your best bet for cruise is to look at a FWD SR TB with cruis and see if it matches up otherwise you can always add aftermarket cruise and use stock buttons

um no....

if you take the throttle body off of a DOHC ka, and the cruise control linkage the only thing that you have to tackle is the wiring.

you can use a KA throttle body with the two pulleys on it for the cruise control

but i did that had it all hooked up and the actual electronic parts of the system didnt work. I think there may be some wiring you have to do.

Swap The Tps Sensor Fromt He Sr To The Ka Throttle. I Know You Can Swap Sensors Between The Ka And Rb20 So I Don't See Why The Sr Would Be Different.

in case u guys were interested i decided to scrap the whole idea of keeping cruise control. Even though the TPS sensor looks like it can be swapped, i am still not sure if bolting it in at any angle will affect anything. It seems to me that the TPS sensor needs to be aligned just right.

just mark the ka tps sensor where the sr is..... and make sure when you swap it the sr sensor is where it was on the sr. That should give a good start point and then fine tune it. It should adjust your idle slightly and your acceleration ramp up (speed of response).
