well i brought my 240 to firestone for an oil change and a clutch fix( oil had been running on the clutch pedal from a leak).  I got them both done for almost 200 dollars and the car has been running good.  The is a lot of pressure from the clutch now and it pushes back very hard.  After i pick up my car i decided to fuel up on premium gas.  Well everything was running good until i noticed my rpms were goin up very quickly on acceleration as if the clutch was half way in.  The more i drove, the clutch began to be more stiff( very hard to push).  NExt thing i know, im goin 25 miles per hr and my rpms are like 5000 on 3rd. I gas it even more and the rpms wont past 5500 and gets stuck there.  Then sometimes it would get stuck at 4000.  WTF is goin on?? I drove home and let the car to rest and it goes back to normal.  It happens again later and now its back to normal again?? somethin wrong with the clutch? the oil? the premium fuel? heh

HElp??

your clutch is slipping, could be a master cylinder problem but unless its been changed recently you probably just need a new clutch.
