MY dad got me a 240sx at an auction and I love the car but it's too slow. It's a 1997 with 60k miles and i thought it would be faster than it is. I heard there is a chinese motor that you can put in this car and it will make it a lot faster. Does anyone know how much these motors cost and where can I get one? My dad has a garage and we looked in the Jasper engine catalogue but couldn't find any different motors for this car. Oh yeah this car has an awesome exhaust system on it and when I shift at night you can see flames coming out of the tip.It's dope.Anyway, if anyone can help me please let me know.

dam, sorry, I didn't know all I know is this car is slow for a sports car and I want to make it faster. I found this site on google and I thought it looked like a good place to start. I don't know much about cars but I know I can get my dad to buy me anything I need to make this car ready to race and when I'm done I will probably be able to desimate all of you on a race track or at a street race. My dad builds race cars for all of his friends and if he can make a heavy domestic car run 10's then he can probably make this light car run even better.

I was saying that I was asking stupid questions to see how many people would waste their energy bashing me for being stupid. I know what an SR is and I know a good deal about the S chassis cars. I don't have one yet, that was the reason for me joining this forum was to find out what to look for when buying one and to see where the best SR swaps could be found......finding out how bad newbs get slaughtered was just a plus.

lol, talk to the dude that has a RB26 in his S14. Then you can see who will "desimate" who. Oh, and it's easier to make a 8cyl car do 10's. You take an older Camaro or something along those lines.... put a cam, some 410's, and a shot of nitrous and you are close to that. Making a 4 banger do that, is a lil different.
