edit:

ah poop

ill be the helpful one

1 inch = 25mm roughly

choice 1 - measure how far you want the wheel to stick out. convert it into the mm, thats the size spacer u need to buy

choice 2- find a pic of some guy flushness u want to run, copy his effective offset. easy if its the same width, a little more complex if hes running different width wheels. your effective offset with spacers will be current offset - spacer size. that online offset calculator will make this really simple

adding to poopy

choice 3 - find a pic of some guy flushness u want to run, find out his offset and then goto the tech section of zilvia use the offset calculator. Enter your offset and his. You'll see how much of a spacer you need. It does all the math for you http://www.zilvia.net/faqs/offset/wheelstires.asp

or do what i did, go to ur local tire shop, and order 1 inch and a half adapters, they should stick you out at around 0 offset. do a search on pics of my wheel, their 40 offset ROTA GT3's but with adapters, took them to a 0 offset.

Okay...
I guess it's time for me to put my skills as a wheel designer to work!

Okay, so I'm assuming that by flush, you would like the lips of your wheels to line up with the tops of your fenders when you put a straightedge up next to your car. I'm saying this because some zilvia members' idea of flush is a little more aggressive, i.e, the lip sticking out of the wheel well by a half inch or so. For these fitments I'm giving you, I assume you have your fenders rolled, if not, do it, you'll thank yourself later.

If you want your wheels flush without stretched tires, you need to run a 20mm spacer on the front, and a 10mm on the rear. This will give you effectively a 17x7.5 +21 and a 17x8.5 +31. With properly fitting tires, this will keep your sidewall flush with the fender, without rubbing on rolled fenders.

Now for the fitment with stretched tires. By stretching, you can bring the lip out completly flush with the fender, while maintaining fender clearance. Note however, that stretched tires on the front will increase your likely-hood of experiancing understeer. For this, you would need a 30mm on the front, and a 20mm on the rear, giving a 17x7.5+11 and a 17x8.5 +21. Keep in mind that this will give a more aggressive fitment than the first. A good way to decide which you would like is to buy the 20mm spacers first, and try them on both the front and rear, deciding which fitment you would prefer, then buying the other two spacers.

If you are going to reference other people's setups, keep in mind that an S13 needs higher offset than an S14.

I hope this helps, good luck on your car!
-Yuri

It all depends on the width. For example, I wouldn't call a 17x10 +35 a FF offset.

i have 17x7.5, et30, 225/45 tires front and back.

the front sits almost flush (maybe a 3mm spacer would help). my camber is straight up front.

the rears have a 15mm H&R spacer, and its almost flush too (could use a 5mm spacer), but i do have alot of negative camber in the rear.

40mm spacer adapter for front would be best but you're going to have to settle for 30mm because that's the biggest they make that I know of.
25mm spacer adapter for rear

That should be OK.

I wouldn't run anything bigger than 20mm adapter anyway so I think it's going to be sunken battleship ahoy matee for you.
