I can buy a HKS EVC boost controller, along with a Super BOV and a HKS turbo timer all in a kit.
Now I'm asking... are there better items for a t3/4 turbo setup? What would you buy (kinda on a budget, but not really
Also, aren't all these parts universal, and would fit onto any system? Just checking to make sure they'll work here.

sounds good,
one problem, make sure the bov have a return outlet so u get return the excess air back into the intake line after the MAF and before the turbo

What return thinggy? Im really new at this whole turbo thing.. help me out here. I thought the purpose of a BOV was to get rid of the air in the intake tubing before the throttlebody.
What is the benefit of recirculating the air back into the system? And is the HKS Super BOV a recirculating blow-off valve? What mods would I have to do to make it recirculate?
Thanks Boosted...

you would recirculate the air back in so that you keep the same amount of air in the intake as the car thinks it has.

explanation:
The MAF measures how much air is going into the engine. When the blowoff valve releases pressure, that removes some of the air that the MAF has already measured and sent to the ECU. The ECU thinks you have X amount of air going in, so it adds X amount of Fuel to accomodate the volume of air. If you loose some of the air and the ecu doesn't know about it, then the same amount of fuel will still go in the cylinder. This cause the car to run rich when you let of the gas. Which makes for a crappy idle.
If you recirculate, then you keep the same amount of air in the system, and the MAF doesn't do any lieing to the ECU.

Its not necessary to do this, but it will make the car run a little better at idle, and will keep it from dying when you let off the gas.

also.. the BOV is not to remove air before the Throttle body. It is to remove Back pressure that is created because the throttle is closed, and the turbo is still spinning (inertia) and pushing air. The BOV is not actually necessary either. It is a safety device designed to prolong the life of the turbo. and it makes a really cool whirring sound.

In order to make the bov re-circulate you have to connect tubing to the blow-off valve exhaust opening the would connect to the intake b/w the MAF, and the Turbo, where there is no pressurized air.
